Training Is Important
Appropriate training is extremely important to safely recovering a stuck vehicle and can help reduce the risks of potential mishaps. The forces involved in removing a vehicle that has become stuck are enormous and done improperly, can cause vehicle damage, injury, or death. Every worker that performs a vehicle recovery operation must be properly trained to ensure they are aware of the dangers and can perform the recovery in a manner that will not endanger lives.
Vehicle Recovery Training Video
Ditch Hitch has developed the following Training Video which provides step by step instructions on the proper procedures for vehicle recovery.

Vehicle Recovery Competency Test
A Vehicle Recovery Competency Test is available to provide your staff with knowledge on how to safely conduct a vehicle recovery operation. The multiple choice test can be used in conjunction with the video to ensure employees are aware of the dangers and can perform the recovery in a manner that will not endanger lives.
Vehicle Recovery Pre-Job Checklist
To manage the risks involved with vehicle recovery, there is a Pre-Job Checklist provided with the complete Ditch Hitch System. The Check List is filled out by both parties involved in the vehicle recovery process to ensure all parts are installed and properly secured and all safety measures are in place. The 2-Part carbonless Checklist ensures nothing is over looked before the recovery operation begins.
Vehicle Recovery Lunch & Learn
The Lunch & Learn session is a hands-on training and demonstration format. It guides employees through the entire recovery process and provides them an opportunity to attempt a vehicle recovery operation in a safe and controlled environment. Contact us for more information.
